This original and typical Mallorcan finca is located on an idyllic plot between the mountains of Son Macià and the east coast of Mallorca.

The driveway to the house leads past wild, romantic and typical Mallorcan fauna. Olives and pine trees as well as other typical island plants such as palm trees, bougainvillea and citrus trees frame the property.

Behind the house, a beautiful, dense lawn and palm trees form the actual garden area. The plot is not visible from any of the neighboring properties.

From the veranda, you can reach the pool via the lawn. At the end of the veranda there is a small outdoor kitchen and an outdoor TV area. A seating area rounds off this area and offers all the amenities you need to enjoy outdoor living.

The living space is spread over different parts of the building.
In the main building, which was built in the mid-19th century and first registered in 1940,
there is a living area with an open fireplace, a kitchen with adjoining dining area, a small storage room (the former kitchen), three bedrooms (two of which are currently used as a study and dressing room), a bathroom integrated into the master bedroom and a separate shower room.

The kitchen has access to the veranda and the garden.

The finca also has three separate guest apartments – each with a bedroom and bathroom and some with a kitchenette and living area.
This also makes the finca the ideal property for a multi-generational home.

There is a garage behind the house and a paddock with fruit trees right next to the driveway, which can also be used for keeping horses or donkeys thanks to the existing stables.

Between the cozy fishing village of Porto Cristo and the largest natural harbour on the island – Porto Colom in the east of Mallorca, just a few kilometers from the coast in the foothills of the Llevant, lies the small, charming village of Son Macià.
The hilly landscape around the village has been used to build private finca estates with plenty of privacy.
The proximity to the second largest city on the island makes this region so interesting for Mallorcans and foreign residents and is becoming increasingly popular.
Local residents affectionately call this area the Tuscany of Mallorca, partly due to the climate and partly due to the many cypress trees with which the residents have planted their properties.

Son Macià is located in the municipality of Manacor, around 7 kilometers from the town center. The coast with its popular bays such as Cala Domingos, Cala Anguila, Cala Romantica and the port of Porto Cristo (formerly Port de Manacor) are only a few minutes' drive away.

The airport of Palma can be reached via the well-developed Ma-15 highway in around 40 minutes and the capital Palma de Mallorca is less than an hour away.

In the small village of Son Macià, you can buy everything you need for your daily needs and there are also several small bars and restaurants around the market square. They are open all year round to cater for the 300 inhabitants of the village and the 500 or so residents on the many fincas around the hill.

For larger purchases or a stroll through the town, a trip to Manacor is recommended.

This finca was the 2nd finca to be built in the valley of Son Macià. Over the years it has changed its appearance through several alterations and extensions.
The most recent alterations are around 20-25 years old and are therefore subject to conservation orders.
And inside the building there are still many reminders of days gone by, which add to its charm.

At the moment, consideration is being given to retroactively registering the parts of the building with grandfathering in the land register.

As the property tax is based on the current registration of the buildings and the cadastral value, no statement can be made in this regard at present.
